C Sharp Response

[edit]

To me: "Hello Agnus, regarding the four '+'s, Dr. Stroustrup has responded personally to my emails and before this topic we were in occasional discussion regarding C++. If you have an email address, I can forward you the emails from Dr. Stroustrup. As I pointed out, you may also email him and introduce yourself."

No, it's okay. Given that the Microsoft e-mail has been allowed to stand, I think it makes most sense to treat the e-mail from Stroustrup similarly. As you have indeed pointed out, it is easy enough to e-mail him. This makes it little different from citing a 'hard' (printed) source such as a book; and frankly it's probably easier to check. In conclusion: as far as I'm concerned, the message on the talk page is absolutely sufficient. Angus Lepper 09:30, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
