Aaron Maniam moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Aaron Maniam, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. The references should also be in-depth about the subject.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. In addition, the article is written in an informal tone. You might want to take a look at Wikipedia:Simplified Manual of Style and Wikipedia:Your first article. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Deletion discussion about Aaron Maniam

[edit]

Hello, Crimson24,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Onel5969 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Aaron Maniam should be deleted. Your comments are welcome over Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aaron Maniam .

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Onel5969}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

Thanks,

Request reason:

Hello Bbb23, I recently participated in a wikithon on Singapore Literature in January, organised by a non-profit called Sing Lit Station. We wanted to expand the material available online on our local literary scene, which we believe is quite under-represented on Wikipedia. As one of the few participants who had previously used wikipedia before, I was tasked to do a lot of the tail-end article creation after we had done our internal vetting. After following the conversation over this banning, I'd like to apologise to the experienced Wikipedia community on behalf of our team for not reaching out to experienced editors earlier to guide us through this process - we did make an attempt to reach out to a few in the week before the event, but didn't receive a reply early enough. Could I request an unblock, please? Crimson24 (talk) 03:42, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Based on multiple discussions, including on my Talk page, I have unblocked you. Bbb23 (talk) 14:07, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Kevin Martens Wong

[edit]

Hello, Crimson24. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Kevin Martens Wong".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CptViraj (📧) 08:57, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
