Andrea Bocelli

[edit]

Bocelli is always introduced as the biggest selling classical artist of all time. Even if you count his classical albums sales alone, he still would be the best-seller. He sold the 70 million albums in 15 years as a solo artist, so maybe Pavarotti sold more recods but not more as a solo artist (and I say maybe, cause I'm not sure he even did). I added many citations that support the fact that he is the biggest selling classical artist of all time, so I don't see what more do you want. Bocelli has been the best-seller for years, and his album sales increase by over 5 million every year, so that won't change anytime soon, if ever.

Celine Dion's comments are famous, and are often mentioned when people intoduce Bocelli. You may not know them but millions of people do.

Franco Corelli is also always cited as Bocelli's idol. Bocelli gave up law and choose to become a singer because of the lessons he recieved from Corelli. And Corelli wrote an article after hearing Bocelli's voice for the first time expressing how much he admired it. I again don't see your problem.--Ahmad123987 (talk) 03:44, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
