Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Sign your messages with four tildes (~~~~), be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, --IJBall (contribstalk) 02:18, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --IJBall (contribstalk) 02:19, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning for violating MOS:ETHNICITY

[edit]

You've been warned about this before. Until you understand the policy, I'd advise you to not mess with citizenship/ethnicity in article introductions. OhNoitsJamie Talk 19:39, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! not sure why are you're not accepting anyone to correct the ethnicity and nationaltiy. She is indeed both Spanish and Argentinian. It's literally a fact and it has been said many times by Georgina herself. She is Argentian by birth and Spanish by origin and nationality (since she carries the spanish nationality since birth and literally grew up in Spain). Darlindarlin7777 (talk) 00:27, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Instead of saying "literally" and relying on what you think you know, read the policy and go by what the reliable sources say. Drmies (talk) 00:29, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
User:Ohnoitsjamie, I placed a temporary block and will leave the rest to you. Drmies (talk) 00:32, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This is absolutely ridiculous. You're blocking me for correcting something that is true and that is said by the celebrity herself. Not only that, but all the sources and articles online claim that she is both Spanish-Argentine. In fact, she is even more Spanish than Argentinan, since she is originally from that country and carries the nationality. So saying "Argentianin" alone is false. Wikipedia should be a place for reliable and true information and not misleading or false information. Darlindarlin7777 (talk) 00:37, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, place an unblock request then, and don't explain "what is true" and "I know this", but how your edits did NOT violated the guideline that User:Ohnoitsjamie pointed you to. Drmies (talk) 00:45, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
i'm new to Wikipedia. Can you explain how my edits violated the guidelines? thanks Darlindarlin7777 (talk) 00:58, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
