This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Pardon My French (1921 film), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Pardon my French (1921 film). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 22:43, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Pardon my French (1921 film)

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Pardon my French (1921 film). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Pardon My French (1921 film). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Pardon My French (1921 film) – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. reddogsix (talk) 23:49, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia editor Redlock just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

It's great that you're making all of these articles, but IMHO, it would be better to make a smaller number of more in-depth articles. Just a suggestion!

I would second Redlock on this. Thank you for your recent contributions, but I think it would be best for now to focus on expanding and adding more sources to the ones we already have. Cheers, Fitzcarmalan (talk) 21:00, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Thank you for all the work you've done, in adding articles about silent films to Wikipedia. However, when adding new articles, could you please include a relevant stub tag on the article, and/or the {{WikiProject Film}} banner on the talk page? This will help the article be included in the appropriate categories and task forces. Also, I invite you to consider joining the Silent films task force, a collaborative effort to improve Wikipedia's coverage of silent films. Wikipedia editor Blythwood just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

Thanks for this! One problem was that the article didn't contain any citations demonstrating that the film was notable. To fix this I've used the Google Books citation generator, which I really recommend as a quick way to get an article verified - you just paste in Google Books urls of relevant sources and then need to fill out the page numbers you want.

Information icon Hello! Thank you for your recent contributions to The Conspiracy of Pontiac. I did have one note for you. I am working on a maintenance project to clean up Category:Pages using infoboxes with thumbnail images. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this: |image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]], instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do: |image=SomeImage.jpg. There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recetly added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks!! Speedy deletion nomination of The Stranger (1910 film)

[edit]

Hello Derrien56,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged The Stranger (1910 film) for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Ætoms (talk) 10:54, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Seth's Temptation moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Seth's Temptation, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
