Fair use image in user namespace

[edit]

Hello!

You have used a fair use image in your user namespace (Image:Christopher Walken.jpg in User:DimTsi/Info). Criterion 9 of the Wikipedia:Fair use criteria states that "Fair use images may be used only in the article namespace. Used outside article space, they are not covered under the fair use doctrine." I have removed it on these grounds.

I do owe you an apology to this as I reverted it, I thought that I was looking at an anon user when it isn't and I do apologise for my action. Willirennen 17:42, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Making your userboxes public

[edit]

I saw your message on the WikiProject: Userboxes talk page, and I will tell you what I have done. I added them to the New Userboxes page under the appropriate date. Although I am not yet sure how many hits I have gotten, it is a way to put your userboxes into the public's eye. Under the title Cut and paste these six lines as you edit, you will see the code required to display your userbox on the page. Good luck, and happy userboxing!
