Prof Garcia's Comments

[edit]

Week 6: Dominique, you did not add anything for our Week 6 assignment? Is everything okay? Alfgarciamora (talk) 12:44, 12 October 2016 (UTC) I was hoping to speak to you in class I am not understanding the assignment.Dominiquejrivera (talk) 15:51, 12 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Dominiquejrivera: Good job moving your stuff to the mainspace, Dominique, but you have added a whole bunch of stuff that is not relevant down at the end. You have to be careful about what you move and what is public. There is a line, for instance, that just has a question mark. And then you have stuff on Sparta, etc. You are now going in the right direction with your research (more sociological and less historical), but you still have to do a bit more work on getting information for this page. You are in the right path, though, so keep doing what you're doing as you finish up the page. Alfgarciamora (talk) 20:17, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Dominiquejrivera: Hey! I chose to peer review your article. Not sure if your stuck but a section i would add to this article form the sociological aspect of it would be "Gender at the Gym". You can expand a lot on that on how society typically judges girls for lifting and for working out but when you walk into a gym now, there's a lot more girls working out than there are guys. Society has had to get used to the new norm of women training with free weights and the weight machines as well. @Alfgarciamora: I'm also not sure if that's where the professor would think this article should try to lead to but just a thought..."Gender at the Gym" Jmabo093 (talk) 20:10, 18 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
