Reverted edit

[edit]

Hi there—I wanted to let you know that I reverted your (script-assisted?) edits on South American dreadnought race because they changed the dash format (emdash to spaced endashes), moved periods outside quotes (WP:ENGVAR), and removed intentional non-breaking spaces, particularly in tables where unbroken lines are needed to aid reader comprehension. Please free free to re-do the other changes you made! Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 21:59, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In order:
  1. From MOS: "Use the style chosen for the article: unspaced em dash or spaced en dash. The style was already standardized on unspaced emdashes with the exception of the references, where I copied info like website names directly without changes.
  2. Ah, you're correct. That supersedes ENGVAR. I'll address that now.
  3. I had no problem with the wikifying! I am only concerned with the formatting changes and reductions to a reader's experience.
Unrelated, but you know quite a few Wikipedia policies and guidelines already for someone with 80 edits! Have you edited Wikipedia before under any other account names? Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 01:08, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
