Looks good. However, needs to be summarized once completed. GDibyendu (talk) 16:04, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Option 1 or Option 2?

[edit]

I think the Tenebrae (film)-based option with multiple subsections looks better. It looks more organized and more concise. Of course, whichever option we choose, we should be consistent on how we spell Apu's mother's name (Sarbajaya? Sarbojaya? Sarvajaya? I think the first one is the one that is used in the article). (Shorbojaya? :-D). --Kuaichik (talk) 17:28, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, of course Sarbajaya. Those variations are due to some copy-paste jobs, and also rapid typing in some cases. And yes, we Bengalis say it like Shorbojoya :) --Dwaipayan (talk) 18:12, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Wait a minute. Shorbojoya?!? Wow, this was the first time I realized that the second vowel was a "short" vowel "o"! --Kuaichik (talk) 02:01, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know the phonetic notations, otherwise could have shown the pronunciation in a proper way. Let's try in a different way. The "o" in "joya" part is said like we say "joy" in English. The "o" in "bo" part is like the pronunciation of "goal" in English. And "o" is "Shar" part is like, well, ummm..., somewhat like "pause" in English. Huh!--Dwaipayan (talk) 07:51, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I kinda knew that - actually, what I meant to say was something much more basic. What I was trying to say was that I thought there was anা (akar) after the জ in Sarbajaya's name :-P --Kuaichik (talk) 04:16, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
