Was this WP:PN, WP:POINT, WP:VANDAL or something else? Computerjoe's talk 16:46, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps you should nominate Wikipedia for deletion? Computerjoe's talk 17:04, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Very well. I apologise and give you permission to re-nominate it. Computerjoe's talk 17:49, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

(Some talk about talk about talk...)

[edit]

Please do not remove items from your talk page unless they are clear vandalism or personal attacks. Such removals may constitute vandalism. Thank you. Grandmasterka 18:27, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Read this section. It's rarely appropriate to delete things from your talk page; no-one really "owns" their talk page. Grandmasterka 18:41, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The first sentence says it all: "Deleting the comments of other users from article Talk pages, or deleting entire sections thereof, is generally considered vandalism." Thus, it extends to more than vandalism warnings. Removing comments can be seen as trying to hide criticism. I'm not going to get in a big fight with you over it, but you will get into trouble if this continues. I've seen it before. Happy editing! Grandmasterka 18:51, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, one more thing... If someone's being incivil, I tend to want the community to see it out in the open rather than buried in the history. Alright, I'll shut up now. Grandmasterka 18:58, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I explained it badly. The part I mentioned is linked to from this, which talks specifically about user talk pages. That's the relevant policy. I've been here quite a while, and I have seen someone get in trouble over this. Just letting you know. Grandmasterka 19:12, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
