Questions

[edit]

Hi,

For anti-vandalism, read here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Rollback, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Assume_good_faith, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Copyright_violations, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Editing_policy, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Edit_warring, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Vandalism, and the links on there. There is no "anti-vandalism team" that I have heard of. As you are new, go here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism_Unit and to be trained(although I wasn't), go here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism_Unit/Academy

To become a reviewer, look here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Articles_for_creation.

There are also many other places where you can look.

Happy editing, --It's Boothsift 04:43, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Like what you told me, there aren't many sources about this. A reason may be that there are many programs with the same name as shown by a Google search. It isn't notable enough sorry.

Adoptee

[edit]

Hi Esmé, thanks for your message. It's good to connect with you here on Wikipedia. I accept your offer and look forward to a fruitful exchange. Serenesage (talk) 21:55, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Serenesage:, @Esmé Aberdova: I think it would be better if Esme gets more experience before adopting you. Currently, she is inactive and not really clear especially when it comes to creating articles. You can find more experienced editors who are accepting, while Esme gains more experience over time. --It's Boothsift 00:55, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You make a valid point, Boothsift. I will look for a more experienced editor. Best regards, Serenesage (talk) 10:48, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Template:Adoption offer requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>).

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Adoption Notice Expired

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Passengerpigeon. I wanted to let you know that I removed the "seeking adoption" userbox from your user page, because you haven't been active for at least a month. When you come back to Wikipedia, feel free to add the userbox back with the code {{Adopt me}}. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks!
