ClearGov moved to sandbox

[edit]

Hi! My name is Brianda and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment. The article ClearGov was moved from the mainspace to your sandbox User:Farouk Najjar/drafting. Your article is well on its way to being complete but needs more work before it can go live. Remember to refer back to the training modules on the Dashboard for guidance on citations, formatting and when an article ready to go live. Here is a link to the pdf Editing Wikipedia. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out at brianda@wikiedu.org. Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:53, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Brianda! Thanks so much for doing that, I only moved it onto the mainspace for an assignment and was planning on moving it back. Ill be sure to make some edits before I move it back again. Farouk Najjar (talk) 05:56, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Notice

The article ClearGov has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

None of the cited sources meet WP:ORGCRITE, coverage is limited to PR and routine coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 05:15, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Our standards for coverage of companies are higher than for most other topics (the full explanation is at WP:NCORP). It's likely that your professor was not aware of this, and may not have been able to properly advise you in selecting a topic for your assignment. I do want to recognize the amount of effort you clearly put into assembling the various sources cited, and to assure you that this should not affect your performance in the course. signed, Rosguill talk 05:21, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
