[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one of your recent edits has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

The article Stephanie Siriwardhana has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Sariaya, Quezon. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Similarly, you undid edits I made to add reliable sources to the Miss Universe 2012 article for no reason. Please refrain from making that kind of edit without an edit summary. Sang'gre Habagat (talk) 03:42, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Similarly, I have found that you have made various unsourced pieces of information to articles you edit. I've left them untouched for now but please refrain from making unsourced edits to Wikipedia. We want Wikipedia to be reliable, so please add reliable sources to any substantial edits you make in the future.Sang'gre Habagat (talk) 04:16, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Miss Universe 2013 with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 12:30, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Miss Universe 2012, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Sang'gre Habagat (talk) 12:14, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Miss Universe 2012. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please understand that we are not here to antagonize you. You don't just say "respect my edit!" without making sure your edits are respectable in the first place. One, you need to add sources to your edits and, two, the contestants' names are listed as they are named on the Miss Universe website, which is the article's primary source. Sang'gre Habagat (talk) 12:02, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors, which you did not do on Miss Universe 2013. Thank you. Sang'gre Habagat (talk) 08:29, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Binibining Pilipinas 2012, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Naga, Cordon and Mariveles (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Do not claim to be an administrator!

[edit]

I noticed you edited your userpage to state that you are a Wikipedia Administrator. This is false, and can be easily verified by anyone. This is the second time you have done this. Please do not do so in the future. Thanks. Mr. Gerbear (talk) 11:21, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I noticed that you have posted edit summaries in Tagalog on the Miss Earth 2013 page. When on the English-language Wikipedia, please always use English, no matter to whom you address your comments. This is so that comments may be comprehensible to the community at large. If the use of another language is unavoidable, please provide a translation of the comments. For more details, see Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Thank you. Mr. Gerbear (talk) 11:29, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

And one more thing. Please stop adding material to Miss Universe 2013 and other beauty pageant articles with information linking to Global Beauties, Missossology, or Facebook. These are not reliable sources as they have, in the past, been misleading on these issues. Please read Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources for more information.

The above issues I've mentioned have not only happened once but multiple times in the past. Please do not repeat any of these. I don't want to have to ask for administrator intervention in your case. Here on Wikipedia, Competence is required! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me or another, more experienced editor. Hello GEOGIA, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied without attribution. If you want to copy from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mr. Gerbear (talk) 06:03, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Miss Universe 2014 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

If there is no specified date or location (or any reliable sources) then there is no need for an article just yet.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ... discospinster talk 03:23, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Miss Earth 2012 Titlecard.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Miss Earth 2012 Titlecard.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 21:25, 9 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Sariaya Quezon Montage.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Sariaya Quezon Montage.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Please don't copy material from elsewhere online

[edit]

Hello. I am Diannaa and I am an administrator on this wiki. Prose you find online is almost always copyright, and cannot be copied here; it's against the law to do so. All prose must be written in your own words. There's more information about copyrights and how it applies to Wikipedia at Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright. Copyright law and its application are complex matters, and you should not edit any more until you have taken the time to read and understand our copyright policies. Further copyright violations will result in you being blocked from editing. — Diannaa (talk) 15:28, 2 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Agawan Festival.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. File permission problem with File:Katherine Espin, Miss Earth 2016.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Katherine Espin, Miss Earth 2016.jpeg, which you've attributed to www.missearth.tv.

You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones  (Talk) 23:39, 30 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Miss Earth 2016 Logo.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

Unspecified source/license for File:Dalampasigan Beach Resort Sariaya.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Dalampasigan Beach Resort Sariaya.jpeg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 04:45, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Micaela Orsi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article contains zero reliable sources. The two existing sources, criticalbeauty.com and globalbeauties.com, are specifically listed at WP:WikiProject Beauty Pageants/Sources as unreliable for reasons of independence or fact-checking or both.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ☆ Bri (talk) 17:30, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Nikoleta Jovanović has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Facebook is both unreliable and non-independent in this case.
