Harassment and Bullying in the Workplace

Hello Georgesshepard,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, Harassment and Bullying in the Workplace, may be copied from http://enoughisenoughau.blogspot.com/2011/02/workplace-harassment-and-bullying.html. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

Duplicate article, and advice

Thanks for your work in creating and editing the article Harassment and Bullying in the Workplace. However, we already have an article on this subject, at Workplace harassment. Before creating an article, it is always worth a search to see whether an article on the same subject under a different title already exists, to save yourself from wasting effort. Also, I have a piece of personal advice to offer. Over the years, I have found that new editors who start creating new articles right away often find that for one reason or another their work is deleted, which can be very disheartening and frustrating for someone who has come here full of enthusiasm for contributing to the encyclopaedia. I find that editors who start by making small improvements to existing articles have a much better chance of having a successful time here. That way, any mistakes you make will be small ones, and you won't lose a lot of work. Over the course of time, you will gradually learn how Wikipedia works, and what is likely to be accepted, and after a while you will be able to create new articles without the risk that they will be deleted almost immediately. Of course, it is entirely up to you, but that is my advice, based on years of seeing how new editors get on here. I am also posting you (above) a "welcome" message, which contains links to various pages that my help to understand how Wikipedia works. Don't try to read them all before you do any more editing, as there is far too much there, but do have a quick look at any that seem relevant to your needs, and come back to others when they become relevant.
