Your revision on Eight-thousander

[edit]

G'day Globetrotter1918,

I see you have reverted on of my edits on the Eight-thousander page. (this edit; https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Eight-thousander&oldid=prev&diff=619537994) On a 24/7 basis I am in contact and co-operating with Eberhard Jurgalski from 8000ers.com and I do contribute to Liz Hawley's Himalayan Database. Together with Eberhard we've come the conclusion that there are no objections left against Jorge Egocheaga's claim to have summited K2, so that's why I've inserted him in the correct slot in this list. The reference may indeed be not exactly the right one, I will however revert your edit and adapt the reference link to point to the correct main page of 8000ers.

All the best, Qwrk (talk) 14:02, 2 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

To be honest, I'm getting a bit fed up with you and your reverts. I have been specialising on the history of K2 for well over 20 years and now you come storming as a noob who doesn't even have the courtesy to reply to comments or subjects that we better discuss between contributors on wikipedia. I am going to revert your edit AGAIN and would like you to respect the rules in place her, or I'm going to be forced to notify an Administrator.
Jurgalski IS the official channel for the ascents of the Pakistani 8000m peaks! The Himalayan Database does ONLY cover the mountains of Nepal! / Jurgalski jest oficjalnym kanałem do wspinaczki na szczyty Pakistanu 8000m! Himalayan Database ma obejmować wyłącznie górach Nepalu!

Sněžka

[edit]

Hey I don't want argue over one meter, and I have let your revert stand, but you left a reference in place that supports the old elevation. Do you want me to replace the current peakbagger ref with a proper citation using the url you provided in the edit summary? --RacerX11 Talk to meStalk me 11:39, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
