It is just a matter of writing the premise of the series in your own words. You can take inspiration from what you find on other sites, and paraphrase in a formal way, to suit the tone required for an encyclopedia. So, does translation count?
Same text but different translation content. For example, I translate content on a Japanese website but the content I translate is not 100% similar.
