[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Meditations on the Tarot has been reverted.
Your edit here to Meditations on the Tarot was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://teenytinytarot.wordpress.com/mott-web-links/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 07:34, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Meditations on the Tarot. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Valenciano (talk) 13:44, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please sign your talk page comments

[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( in the enhanced toolbar, or if you use the old "classic" toolbar) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Just plain Bill (talk) 03:00, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The Four Precepts moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, The Four Precepts, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Nomination of The Four Precepts for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article The Four Precepts is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Four Precepts until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Britishfinance (talk) 20:15, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Hazratio. Thanks for your statement on the Talk Page of the AfD: Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/The Four Precepts. I understand your rationale now. You obviously have a WP:COI on this topic, and therefore should avoid editing on this article, or anything else linked with the related author of "The Four Precepts" (that would be a clear problem in Wikipedia which would have consequences). Now that it has been started, we will just let the AfD run its course anyway. Thanks again, and best of luck with your ventures. Britishfinance (talk) 21:29, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
