Hi

[edit]

Just to let you know, some people are really against deleting stuff on talk pages from articles. The rules for talk pages in userspace like your talk page here is more flexible. I've set up an archive for you above so it doesn't look too disrespectful. I don't think you were being disrecpectful. You can archive instead of just deleting now. Andrea D'Amico (footballer)

[edit]

You should learn what is inline citation and a citation is a webPAGE not a website. Matthew_hk tc 13:51, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Those references have been there a very long time....to be exact, when I first created the Andrea D'Amico page. I have not used websites as references since I was corrected on that a long time ago, and not by you. Thanks, I'll go and fix it myself rather then just place some box at the top of the page and leave the reference section blank. Juve10 (talk) 14:00, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I said it is useless to cite a website. Did you intend the reader find the exact webPAGE by themselves? As you recently wrote he was awarded a shirt in 2011-12 season, so where is the source? Matthew_hk tc 14:03, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
All I meant is that, those references have been there a long time, and I actually just fixed them now. I put those there before I was full established on Wikipedia. I apologize for the issue, but the problem was not recent and it is fixed now. Juve10 (talk) 14:07, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
i do one single example on that page. He left Catania in co-ownership. I had warn you yo clean up you old article, to upgrade them to sufficient standard. Matthew_hk tc 14:09, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
And as for the shirt number, I did have an unlisted source where I read that he obtained the number 28 shirt, but I have since, fixed it as well. Juve10 (talk) 14:07, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A warning for hoax, again. He left the club in June and you created a hoax that he wrote no.28 in new season.

Do not create, add, or restore hoaxes to Wikipedia, such as you did with the article Andrea D'Amico (footballer). Hoaxes are caught and marked for deletion shortly after they are created. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia – and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. Matthew_hk tc 14:11, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

So bring that source out, or did you wrote that source? As i know forum and transfermarketweb is a unreliable source. And you had a long history of unsourced hoax Matthew_hk tc 14:14, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I have not been issued any sort of warning in a very long time. At first (3 years ago), I was not fully familiar with the criteria for Wikipedia, but since then I am. You do not need to warn me any long, and the only reason I responded in such a way, wasnt because you are wrong, but rather because you tend to target everything I do. I am on Wikipedia for the best interest of the website and for soccer fans. Again I apologize that we had this issue in the first place, but I do fix errors. Thanks Juve10 (talk) 14:16, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Any other history of mine relating to hoaxes is long previous. I apologize for the inconvenience on both of our parts. Juve10 (talk) 14:17, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Firstly, templated warning and "hand-write" warning were warning. Secondly, Please do not remove article template, as the article still very lack of in-line citation.

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Andrea D'Amico (footballer). When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Matthew_hk tc 14:20, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Its not that I need a welcome to Wikipedia again, I really am very familiar with all of the websites intentions. Any warnings or history that I had are of a long time ago, and since then I have established myself well here on Wikipedia. I was offended by the interpretation of the message you sent me, do to past disagreements. None of this was in bad intention and thank you for your realization and understanding upon the subject. Thank You Juve10 (talk) 14:24, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page

[edit]

Please do not remove talk page content until the section expired. It could achieved by a bot which automatically moved a section what the last reply was 2 or 3 weeks ago. Matthew_hk tc 14:28, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't remove it, all I did was archive it, similar to the first section of my talk page. Juve10 (talk) 14:30, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I said do not achieve a section which is RECENT. This page isn't read by yours but other people. Matthew_hk tc 14:35, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Use Template:talkback. you should replying in the same place (i.e. your talk page) Kept Q & A in one place, not Q in your page and A in my page. Matthew_hk tc 14:38, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Alfredo Donnarumma

[edit]

A recommendation, please give a in-line citation for his goal scoring record in youth team (16 goals). It could be removed at anytime if someone did not think it is real (think it is a hoax), as no external reliable source prove it is true. Matthew_hk tc 14:32, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Was there not a website listed stating that? I actually read it in two different places, last night. I'm going to have to go back in my history and look for the second source if the one listed is not good enough. Juve10 (talk) 14:34, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Old issue, again (Raffaele Bianco)

[edit]

You wrote he joined Juventus before moved to Modena in 2009, but he moved to Modena in mid-July, did he really joined the pre-season camp (of first team) or just return to Juventus for paperwork? As Juventus pre-season camp also started in mid-July. I suggest a major clean-up and upgrade for you old articles is needed. Matthew_hk tc 18:58, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I over look it. It is did by an ip user, but is that you? Matthew_hk tc 19:14, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, the article of Raffale Bianco is one of those largely edited by me, however that ip user is not me in fact. I always have my edits as Juve10. Thanks Juve10 (talk) 19:56, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Alfredo Donnarumma (2nd)

[edit]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Alfredo Donnarumma, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Please give the article some in-line citation before removed the template. 19:03, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited Calcio Catania, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Estudiantes (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi there JUVE10, VASCO from Portugal here,

I have a feeling you won't reply or care less about want i want to say, but could we reach a compromise please in this player's article? I don't think there's a need to have two separate JUVENTUS sub-sections, only one suffices. Also: 1 - the name of the article is A.C. ChievoVerona not Chievo Verona separate; 2 - the PC updates were correct because the Serie A season ended on 20 May 2012 not 5 July, and there's no need to have an NT update because his career with the Italian team is OVER; 3 - the MILAN / CATANIA sub-sections should be together because his Milan spell was very short.

Thank you, happy weekend. --Vasco Amaral (talk) 20:31, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Sorry then about my very first sentence ("reply", "care less"), i said that because i saw we were not "getting along" in the edit summaries, i see the error of my (writing) ways, apologies hopefully will be accepted. About Legro's article, yes my friend, teamwork is highly appreciated and you, as a Juventus and Catania fan, must me more than well equipped to make these teams players' articles better, so any changes you add will definitely be for the better... Happy new week to you as well! --Vasco Amaral (talk) 16:13, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Adjustments i made to yours: 1 - the word "season" goes INSIDE the season wikilink, not OUTSIDE, and no need to be writing SEASON all the time, sometimes (for example) "in 2008-09" is enough; 2 - speaking of dashes, the ones we use are BIG not SMALL; 3 - we want to avoid caps as much as possible when it's not the first word, so it's "Club career", not "Club Career"; 4 - overlinking: no need to link SERIE A or any other WP article (example Jorge Andrade, Claudio Ranieri) when it's already been done; 5; no need to say twice (in such a short amount of lines) Catania is from Sicily; 6 - i also see you took no notice about joining his MILAN and CATANIA spells, that's OK i respect you and will abide by. What i won't abide by is that you wrote about Barzagli's move to Juventus after i removed it, so now it's referred to in the article TWICE, i had to remove one entry don't you think (speaking of Barzagli, the value of his transfer is irrelevant in Legrottaglie's article, it should be addressed in Barzagli's one)? --Vasco Amaral (talk) 16:19, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Lucas Castro, please cite a reliable source for your addition. The transfer is confirmed; the rest of it is not, so I've removed it. Please see WP:RS, WP:POV, WP:V, WP:BLP - if you add anything again that violates any of those policies, I will report you. GiantSnowman 16:21, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Reported at AIV - you have had plenty of time to provide sources, but have failed to do so over the past few days, and have also indulged in edit warring. GiantSnowman 16:23, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OK - please find reliable sources - Transfermarkt does not count - that can be used to verify the information. You must not have any points of view. I have removed my report and will allow you time to do this, the sooner the better - sound fair? GiantSnowman 16:32, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies if I seemed over the top - but we have a very strong and important policy on living people. I will help look for more sources and improve the article; have a nice weekend as well. Thanks, GiantSnowman 16:39, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thought we had already arranged that, please (PLEASE!) stop adding his NT update in box, his international career is over. Also, why did you "update" his club games when total stayed the same? Strange...

Some tips

[edit]

Hi there my friend, how's it going, long time no "see",

please, several people have reverted you, the header should read "Club (or International) career", not "Club Career", it's from the WP Manual Of Style. I have also reverted some of your additions in Keko (footballer born 1991) because: 1 - we don't need to make storyline a second infobox (i.e. he made x appearances for y club during his spell); 2 - speaking of headers (now sub-sections), CATANIA suffices, we'll have full name in storyline and the header is thus compressed; 3 - not much point in saying the jersey he received upon returning from his loan (let's imagine he'll be loaned four more times, then receive another number when he returns, surely you don't mean we write that down every time); 4 - you incurred in overlinking in your story additions (i.e. Serie A).

Attentively, sorry for any inconvenience - --AL (talk) 08:03, 9 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ah, but you re-inserted the header CALCIO CATANIA, when CATANIA suffices perfectly...OK, i won't revert you again, out of respect man, don't understand why it must be so long but it stays your way. Regards --AL (talk) 15:12, 13 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Laurențiu Brănescu, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Sir Sputnik (talk) 17:15, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Laurențiu Brănescu

[edit]

I must respectfully disagree with your assessment. As I'm sure you're aware, his three appearances so far were in the Romanian second division. This league is not fully pro. You'll note its absence from WP:FPL. This was a key point in the original deletion. His transfers to Italian clubs do not confer notability either. WP:NSPORT explicitly states: A player who signs for a domestic team but has not played in any games is not deemed to have participated in a competition, and is therefore not generally regarded as being notable. Saying that he will start is speculation, which is never grounds for notability. Deletion will of course be without prejudice to recreation if and when he makes his debut. Finally, the coverage he has received so far is limited to routine sports coverage, match reports, player profiles, transfer announcements and the like, which is insufficient for meeting WP:GNG. Best Regards. Sir Sputnik (talk) 17:45, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Adrián Ricchiuti and Catania

[edit]

I have absolutely no idea why you keep removing Adrián Ricchiuti from Catania's current roster. He is still on Catania, number 24. Show me the source that says he was either transferred or retired. I looked for one and could not find any. What I did find was his name on the official Catania website saying he's still on the team. Italia2006 (talk) 04:00, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

His contract with Catania expired on 30 June 2013. The roster on the website is from 2012–13. (http://www.transfermarkt.it/it/adrian-ricchiuti/profil/spieler_30654.html) Juve10 (talk) 14:37, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

For me the article displays normally, so I'm not entirely sure what the problem is. It might be something with your computer. I don't know. In any case, I've copied your comment from my talk page, and your edit summary from your most recent edit to the article over to WT:WikiProject Football to see if anyone else is having the same problem or can figure out what's going on. Hmm, that is very strange that it is appearing normal for you. I may try restarting my computer or try on another one to see if the issue is reoccuring. Thank you very much for checking into it. I will keep in touch if anything comes up. Juve10 (talk) 03:00, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
