Don't be discouraged by the article you created, The Butler Arms Hotel, being nominated for deletion. Notice how one of the messages you received above was bluntly stated as the The Butler Arms Hotel article being "inappropriate", when in reality, after the article was sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion other editors greatly disagreed with this assessment. Fortunately these checks and balances are in place to preserve valid, encyclopedic content.

Welcome to Wikipedia, and please feel free to continue to contribute to the Wikipedia project!

DRV of Killarney

[edit]

Hi Kemiah,

Sorry you seem to be getting problems editing this article. I don't think DRV is the right venue for you to resolve your dispute, I've responded in more detail at the DRV page - here --82.19.4.7 (talk) 13:25, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Signature

[edit]

Since you seem to be getting difficulty with your signature perhaps this will help (or perhaps not!)

You don't need to write your username, simply end what you put on talk pages with four tildes e.g. ~~~~ which then gets expanded out as username and timestamp like "82.19.4.7 (talk) 22:52, 19 December 2011 (UTC)"[reply]

What you seem to be doing is manually keying your name then entering five tildes e.g. ~~~~~ which then just shows the timestamp like "22:52, 19 December 2011 (UTC)"

Hope this helps --82.19.4.7 (talk) 22:52, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Samantha Power, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Waterville (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jerry Kennelly, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 02:08, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Kemiah. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Jerry Kennelly".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jerry Kennelly}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 03:35, 21 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Kieran Donaghy. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks!
