Hi Knitsey, you removed my update about Jason Blades. It is all absolutely factual and has been admitted to on various TV shows. Hello there. This is nothing to do with protecting anyone. It has everything to do with using a reliable source, using a neutral tone and adhering to BLP policies on Wikipedia.

Hello again, nice to hear from you! I had some time off for health issues but now I'm back and (nearly) fighting fit. I didn't realise how much I missed Wikipedia (as sad as that is to admit).

Degrading sexualized image

Hi Knitsey, A group of women with MRKH Syndrome attempted to replace a degrading and sexualized image of a woman’s genitals from the page associated with their condition. You immediately put it right back up. Why would you do that? Do you think young girls with that diagnosis want to come to the Wikipedia page and see themselves presented as a woman with her legs spread, looking at her vagina? Did the woman even consent? There are plenty of more respectful and anatomically accurate diagrams that can be used. Right now, Wikipedia feels like exploitation and abuse to us right now. This is a medical article. I would suggest that people looking for medical information may be put off by a photo of a pair of knickers made of flowers.

Personally, I am not concerned about whether the current picture stays or goes. What is not suiable for an article covered by WP:MEDRS is a picture of flowers in the shape of a pair of knickers. A nice pic and all that but it is not (in my opinion) suitable for an article about a serious medical condition in an encylopedia. Also there is a list with what is not encouraged in the picture. Says the opposite. That images for medical conditions shouldn't be very technical. Also no shock and sex content. Do you realize how shocking it is for my potential boyfriend to look up this article and see that horrible picture with poor woman that has no vagina?

Apologies, I've tried twice to reply to this message. It wouldn't post.
Two issues.
1. The current picture.
2. Your artwork.
The image you are trying to add is not suitable or relevant to the article about a medical condition.
What I suggest is this. Make a post on the talk page of the article with your reasoning as to why you think the image should be removed, citing WP policy and anything you think might be relevant.
Responses might be slow as Wikipedians are volunteers from across the globe.

Where exactly in the rules it states that it is prohibited to put a picture like that? Quote.
Respond to my argument that a previous picture is a sexual and shock content. Also I suspect it was taken without permissions. As rules state people shouldn't be on the picture. You also provided zero objective arguments on why exactly you are reverting the page to the state where it displays shocking and sexual content that is explicitly prohibited. You failed to provide an explicit rule that a new picture was allegedly violating. You based everything solely on your subjective judgment. This is not a right approach folks. Let's please remove an abusive picture of someone's vagina. Most likely that picture was taken without her consent. And MRKH community will add a new one that would be a better fit for a technical article. A compromise solution. I saw the new user edit, didn't pay much attention to the article title and thought it was a load of waffle. Then I read the article.
It belongs in here, Darvaza gas crater.
The only reason there is an article about a game that is played by a load of over-privileged tw*ts, is because it's played by a load of over-privileged tw*ts. A game played by 1 school in the whole world.

DELETE! Someone else mentioned that looking forwards, I should think about it. Honestly, I would need to think long and hard about a few things, not least is my lack of new articles plus I'm not convinced article writing would be my forte. I have mild dyslexia which I found a little difficult to cope with when writing The Road Dance, although it was a more positive experience then I thought.
I'm also not sure I would have the patience that you need. I am constantly amazed by admins stamina for answering the same question over and over and for dealing with disputes.
I might think about it once I have another year or so under my belt.

I was only bludgeoning aka writing multiple comments in a row before I found out the policy exists like 10 hours ago. Afterwards I stopped and agreed with "rapper and actor". Also remember when I was editing for 7 hours straight to get that extended confirmed thing back, of course I care about wikipedia, I took a day of from work because I was editing, remember?And look at the "poetry Collection" section on the Tupac article, I added all that info, I had to remove some because I couldn't find sources, but I added a lot of good paragraphs in that section, in fact I created that section. Hi Knitsey, thank you for your rapid review. I'm trying to create an "artist page" on Wikipedia. I've never done this before, please help me do this the right way. The page doesn't have to be promotional, it's just supposed to be a biography. I'm a composer and have thousands of views on my latest song/video, and people are trying to find me but they're complaining because I don't have a wiki - but other artists do... so what is the right way to do this? Can you guide me please? I couldn't find anything specific about "artist pages" in the wiki links, and would appreciate it if you can guide me to such. I’ve already mentioned twice that Dany Garcia’s birthdate, November 29, 1968, is confirmed by sources outside of Wikipedia. If you check the Simple English Wikipedia, it lists the same birthdate without citations. The information is widely confirmed by external sources, so no citations are necessary for this well-established fact. You retracted my published information

Hi, you retracted the information I added to the Rosenheim Mansion about Palaye Royale's new music video "Dark Side of the Silver Spoon" being filmed there. But I cannot add a reference to this because Wikipedia apparently doesn't allow links to YouTube. The video isn't posted anywhere else online that I've seen yet as something to which one can directly link so how can I abide Wikipedia's rules but still create the reference so Palaye Royale will get the recognition they deserve? The mansion isn't mentioned by name in the video (it's a music video for the band, doubt they'd mention the filming locations) but anyone who's ever seen the mansion before (film or real life) can tell it's the same mansion, hence I wanted to refer to the video as an appearance of the mansion in media. The few seconds of the outside could be the same building but there is nothing to indicate it was filmed there. If you do find any reference to it then by all means come back and see if it's suitable.

Hi. Whilst I appreciate your anti-vandalism work, as we all should do, I offer the following observation. When you write in an edit summary, "DanCherekTheBast*rd", "Fetishise Asians or Hate Asians - Your Choice", Dickcheese McSmegmahole, JOOST KLEIN CAME TO MY HOUSE AT 330am., or indeed this, many admins will spend some time cleaning up after the vandal, then subsequently spend an equal amount of time cleaning up after you. No, I'm saying you should think about your edit summary. And yes if rollback offers you no choice but to write something abusive, do something else. OK, I'm still lost. I didn't write anything abusive. I would rarely write anything in response to vandalism edits as it feeds the trolls. Especially not to the LTAs that are about at the moment.

ffs zzuuzz lol. Firstly, I do apologise, I didn't realise that using rollback would cause more problems with abusive names. No excuses, I should have realised that and I will make sure I manually revert in future when it comes to 'dubious' names. zzuuzz if its OK, I have a question about the LTA that usually uses ip's, the one that is writing the long messages. Is reverting them still OK? I notice they (or a copycat) has started creating accounts again. The account names, so far, are innocuous. Or should I just leave them and report to AIV. The one posting to the admin boards? They're usually reported to AIV/TB2, so you may want to check that, but reporting them is no harm. At this point I'll take the opportunity to point to WP:BRI, as opposed to WP:RBI. Well there's no point warning them, that's for sure. Getting the message doesn't appear to be their thing. But there's no harm in duplicating bot reports. Say what you've already said here about GDP. Everyone here is a volunteer so you might need to wait for a response. What I would suggest is, have a look here Wikipedia:Edit requests then pop over to the talk page and state the exact text you want to add along with the reference and someone will take it from there. It's probably the easiest way. If the text is suitable then they will add it for you along with the reference. Just say your new so could someone do it for you.
