Your username was questioned

The problem is that usernames with "service" in them, often turn out to be organization or company names, and of course we don't permit organization/group/collective names of any kind. I have not blocked your account, because there is no evidence that this is a problem in your case; but I thought you might like to know. --Orange Mike | Talk 19:25, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. My last name is actually Service, but I can understand why Wikipedia would be weary of usernames that might indicate an organizational bias. I just signed up as an editor for a university class through Indiana University-South Bend and I wanted my username to be recognizable to my professor. I hope that helps things.
