Lettuce

[edit]

Lettuce is an American funk band that originated in Boston but is based in New York, NY. The band was founded by Eric Krazno (guitar), Erick "E.D." Coomes (bass), Adam Deitch (Drums), Adam "Shmeeans) Smirnoff (guitar), Neal Evans (keys), Ryan "Zwad" Zoidis and Sam Kininger (Sax). They also feature other prominent musicians, live and on their studio albums.

History

[edit]

In 1992, the current members met at a Berklee College of Music summer program. Since then they have released three albums, Outta Here (2002), Live In Tokyo (2005), Rage! (2008). Each member has branched out and developed his own career expanding the band's already long list of associated artists. Their albums have gained critical acclaim and though the band does not tour often, they have a dedicated following that continues to grow steadily.
