Proposed deletion of Pirosmani (journal)

[edit]

The article Pirosmani (journal) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable magazine, no independent sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Randykitty (talk) 14:57, 23 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Pirosmani (journal), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Pirosmani (journal/magazine)

[edit]

stop I assumed good faith in your request to work on this article as a userfied draft, even after it was deleted (twice) following an AfD. You were specifically told not to recreate this article in the mainspace without first submitting the draft to AfC. Yet within 24 hours you did exactly that. The article has now been salted to prevent recreation. If you attempt to post or recreate this article anywhere in the mainspace again, without first getting it cleared at WP:AFC I will treat it as persistent disruptive edting and you will be blocked. No further warnings on this subject will be forthcoming. -Ad Orientem (talk) 17:51, 1 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am an inexperienced Wikipedia writer and was confused by the dual instructions (one for submitting to AfC, the other for "moving" the article). For this, I am sorry. I have now submitted it for review (hopefully, correctly). If I have made a mistake again, you may block me in good faith for disruptive inexperience and simple persistence in the face of editorial sanctimony. Also, I am impressed that my original article could be deleted twice even though I had only submitted it once. --Mahrujan (talk) 11:30, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Dagny, or a Love Feast

[edit]

Hi, I'm Rentier. Mahrujan, thanks for creating Dagny, or a Love Feast!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Nice article. Please convert some of the the external links into footnotes.

Hi Rentier, It's been three years but I just managed to get around to the issues you pointed out. I've fixed them and think it should be ok to remove the Maintenance Template? Thanks.Mahrujan (talk) 14:13, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Pirosmani (magazine)

[edit]

Hello, Mahrujan. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Pirosmani".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Legacypac (talk) 01:53, 10 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
