Alan Navai Review of Pocket Pets Article

[edit]

Lead Section:

The history section at the start is well written, however there is no lead section that generally explains what pocket pets are and there significance. This should be added above the history section at the top of the page.

Structure:

The structure of the pocket pets looks good, with each section being clearly distinct from the others. One thing to consider is if any of these pocket pets could be grouped into their own category if they have any similarities that others do not.

Balance coverage:

The coverage of the article shows a good balance. Each of the pocket pets so far has a good chunk of information, and no single section dominates the page.

Neutrality:

Reading through the article, the information seems factual and unbiased. There is no siding with one particular viewpoint or the other.

Reliability:

The article's sources seem to be reliable because they come from science journals and organizations, while staying away from informal blogs or self-published writers. The variety of the sources also seems adequate.

Peer Review Response

[edit]

Hi Nathan,

Thank you for your feedback. Including scholarly sources was not on my mind so thank you for pointing that out, I will be sure to add them. Thanks again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shannonnancysw (talkcontribs) 23:56, 31 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Instructor Feedback

[edit]

You've added a lot of content to Pocket pet, nice work! Here are some suggestions to make sure you get a good grade:

  1. The parallel of "history" to "comparison" is a bit awkward, can you combine the content for each animal?
  2. Since there are articles for each animal, provide a notice+link to the main article for those titles, e.g. see the "Classification" section of mammal
  3. Check for spelling and grammar
