Yoshiki's date of birth

[edit]

Dear Mbe320,

I take as much of the blame for your above warning as you do, and I wanted to let you know I have written about this matter on Yoshiki's talk page. I apologize that Cyrus XIII warned you for this, as I should have addressed the situation as soon as I found Wikipedia policy on the matter. It is my sincere hope that you approve of the compromise I suggested. Please join me on Yoshiki's talk page if you would like to discuss this matter further. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Harukaze 15:28, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

PS: I've now removed your 3RR warning, as examination of Yoshiki's page History shows that a warning was unmerited. I hope that neither my actions nor anyone else's discourage you from using and contributing to Wikipedia. 春Harukaze23:18, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not apologize, your English is fine. Your English is better than my Japanese :)
I cannot take you at your word that you work for Yoshiki. Please do not take this personally. I simply need a citation, some third party article of some kind, which mentions his desire for privacy. I do believe you, but I must follow procedure.
Sadly, my computer at work is unable to display Japanese characters of any kind, and so I cannot read the Yoshiki article at the Japanese Wikipedia. I will read the article when I go home, and as long as that article has a citation, I will happily remove the year of his birth from the English article as well.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and please assure Yoshiki that I will address this as soon as I am able.
Best regards,
