Hi, MrClank, welcome to Wikipedia. Please don't attempt to "trout" people before you have gathered some more experience (your account has only just been created), and some awareness of when trouting might be appropriate. In regards to starting with editing:

[edit]

I'd be happy to give you a few pointers (though not full-blown mentorship/adoption, as I'm too prone to random longer absences for that) in regards to starting with editing. However, so I can give you some pointers that are useful to you:

  • Are there any subject areas you'd specifically like to edit? (E.g. articles about music, or trains, or birds, or sport stars, or buildings, etc.)
  • Are there any types of edits you'd specifically like to make? (E.g. fixing typos, or expanding content on short articles, or improving references, or finding relevant images on Commons and adding those to articles, or finding articles that should be in a category and add them there, etc.)
  • Or is it more that, in theory, you'd like to be a contributor to Wikipedia but you don't really have any particular idea of what you'd like to do (nor really care where you'd start as long as it's useful)?

Yes I need help with the potbelleez (article about music) it was missing a image and need to be updated due to 3 new track: 1:keep on loving https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKiJ-sOnH_E 2:go for gold https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLbwB0LFjgw 3: the moment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knk4oh_PpnE

--MrClank (talk) 00:13, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In regards to the missing image, that might be because we don't have any images at Wikimedia Commons (which is solely for freely useable files) in the relevant category of the entire group, just of the individual members. Rules in regards to fair use of copyrighted works make use of images of living people almost entirely impossible.
This makes it basically impossible to add an image of the entire group to the article unless you or someone else can find or create a free image of them and upload it to Commons. However, it would be possible to add a picture of each of the members to the article. Those would probably fit best in the "Members" subsection of the the Potbelleez article. I'll see about adding them for you.
In regards to updating with the new three-track: I'd prefer a better source than youtube for this, both because it's really easy for people to upload copyright violations to youtube (which we're better off not linking to in our articles) and because there is no fact checking/quality control. It's perfectly possible for someone to upload for example a song by P!nk and claim it's a Katy Perry song, or claim it's from a different album than it is, etc.
As the channel that uploaded those videos is the official channel for the group's label TMRW, that makes it less iffy in this case and if no other sources can be easily found might be sufficient, but I'd still prefer to source it elsewhere. Do either TMRW or The Potbelleez have a site (preferably an actual site and not Twitter/Facebook/Instagram/other social media, though for something uncontroversial like a released song those may work in a pinch) on which these songs are mentioned/listed? Thanks. Added the two images I could definitely identify which member they were. Added the releases you mentioned as well. I can understand you'd not feel comfortable making either edit just yet: editing tables and to a lesser degree adding images are some of the more complicated types of edits. Want me to point you at a few articles that could use some minor improvements or specific changes that are more straightforward? AddWittyNameHere 01:32, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No minor changes needed MrClank (talk) 03:16, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

All right. One tip: it's Wikipedia custom to indent your replies in a conversation, to show more easily who you're replying to and what comment you're replying to as conversations can become quite chaotic and hard to read otherwise. Each : at the start of a line adds a level of indenting, so if you want to, say, respond to this comment of mine, you'd start your comment with ::. A linebreak triggers outdenting, so if you have a multi-paragraph response, you'd preface each paragraph with the same number of :s. AddWittyNameHere 03:33, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
. Thank you for the tip MrClank (talk) 03:36, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. The period isn't necessary, that was part of the sentence punctuation, not the indenting, but I now see that I could have worded that more clearly. My apologies. Anyway, feel free to let me know on my talkpage if you have any questions or need further help with something. :) AddWittyNameHere 04:44, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You are not new

[edit]

I don't believe that you are new, and I suspect you are a sockpuppet of Dream Focus, or another general troll. I don't believe your convoluted story about how you found ANI via Hijiri88's talkpage. As such, I have blocked you indefinitely. SQLQuery me! 05:31, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Struck the accusation at Dream Focus - I was wrong on that one per multiple checkusers (actual sockmaster was Jenulot). SQLQuery me! 15:48, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I am not a sockpuppet! I created this account yesterday.

I am not dream focus, I in Australia but how am I being blocked for being new?!

{{ping|AddWittyNameHere} help me 😪😪😪

Request reason:

I am not dream focus, you got the wrong personMrClank (talk) 05:52, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

After consultation in private with a CheckUser you are likely a sock puppet of Jenulot, and behaviorally I consider this proven. Declining and revoking TPA and email. You may appeal via WP:UTRS. TonyBallioni (talk) 06:02, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
