October 2008

[edit]

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Adrenaline (album), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Please do not change genre fields in artist and album infoboxes without discussion first. These are frequently controversial topics, and should be discussed first. Regards, Parsecboy (talk) 00:23, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop changing genres on Slipknot related articles without discussion first. Every page has a messege stating this and you have ignored it twice. Also, genres such as "Nu metal" should have a lowercase "m" because that is how their articles are titled. Blackngold29 22:55, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not assume ownership of articles such as Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)‎. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you. Blackngold29 01:06, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop assuming ownership of articles such as Slipknot (album). Doing so may lead to disruptive behavior such as edit wars and is a violation of policy, which may lead to a block from editing. Blackngold29 02:27, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Genre capitalizations

[edit]

Please note that genres are not capitalized; I am reverting your edits. Please see WP:MUSTARD for more info. ≈ The Haunted Angel 23:01, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
