I am interested in editing and contributing to this article on sex education. Ngozi Stella Udechukwu (talk) 14:23, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Children sex education requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello, Ngozi Stella Udechukwu,
You have to integrate relevant sources you have found into your draft article, you can not expect other editors to write an article for you, most people have other projects keeping them busy and we are all volunteers here.
If you have questions about article creation or editing on Wikipedia, please bring them to the Teahouse where more experienced editors can offer you advice and support. It also helps if you submit your draft articles to Articles for Creation first, where they can be reviewed. Putting brand new articles into the main space of the project that don't meet Wikipedia standards can often lead to them being deleted which can be very frustrating. AFC will offer you advice on how to improve drafts so that they will not be deleted. And, by the way, an editor moving your article from main space to your Sandbox was a way of saving it from being deleted, so you could continue to work on it. Good luck! Liz Read! Sex education

[edit]

It would probably be best if you abandoned your attempts to create a new article, and simply tried to improve Sex education. In general, editing existing articles is often a much better way to at the same time contribute to Wikipedia and getting to know the rules, quirks, barriers ... to editing here. It seems unlikely that your attempted article will be accepted, as we try not to have two or more articles on the same subject. Fram (talk) 12:09, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have also added a sentence with citation https://doi.org/10.1007/s12119-021-09933-7 in the second paragraph where there was no reference. Ngozi Stella Udechukwu (talk) 13:53, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Ngozi Stella Udechukwu, you are invited to the Teahouse, a forum on Wikipedia for new editors to ask questions about editing Wikipedia, and get support from peers and experienced editors. Please join us! Liz Read! Talk! 19:06, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Liz! Good to hear from you. I have heard what you said, and they are highly appreciated. I am not meant to send my draft to the main space. Sorry about that. I was curious to know how to create an article in Wikipedia. I welcome your advice and wish to learn more in this Teahouse. Thank you for bringing me to the forum.
Ngozi Stella Udechukwu (talk) 09:57, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Ngozi Stella Udechukwu/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.webmd.com/mental-health/addiction/heroin-use. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Please, stop editorializing. LilianaUwU (talk / contributions) 00:22, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. Thank you.
I don't understand what you mean by "stop editorializing." Should I stop editing entirely? Ngozi Stella Udechukwu (talk) 09:52, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
By "Stop editorializing", I think User:LilianaUwU is stating that personal points of view should not be included in Wikipedia, as Wikipedia adheres to a policy that states that content should be written in a WP:NPOV (neutral point of view).
Shadow of the Starlit Sky (talk) 15:47, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Uh huh, that's what I meant. LilianaUwU (talk / contributions) 19:41, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Climate change and gender, you may be blocked from editing. Shadow of the Starlit Sky (talk) 11:46, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Fram. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Child abuse image content list have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Fram (talk) 10:47, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

See also this, which looks like normal editing near the top, but completely ruins words and sentences farther down. I don't know if you are doing this deliberately or just have some weird issues on your computer, but please check your edits completely before saving them, and if an edit contains such errors just don't save it. Fram (talk) 10:49, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Thanks. I was worried about how the editing is breaking and returning errors as soon as I publish it. I even asked, "Why is it that the edited words reappeared after publishing them?"? Ngozi Stella Udechukwu (talk) 10:57, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi...in the same vein: your edits continue to break syntax, grammar, there are double letters inserted rather haphazardly. I would recommend to use the "Show preview" feature before publishing. Lectonar (talk) 11:45, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Thank you.
Ngozi Stella Udechukwu (talk) 11:49, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Women in Nigeria, you may be blocked from editing. Fram (talk) 13:04, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Immediately after the above, you go on produce this? It seems very likely that if your next edits have the same kind of issues, you will be blocked from editing. Fram (talk) 13:06, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry about the mistakes. I did not know how it happened. Ngozi Stella Udechukwu (talk) 09:14, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
