Notice of proposed deletion (PROD)

[edit]

Greetings Nightsoil. This is a courtesy notice to inform you that I've proposed the brief article Semiotext(e) SF for deletion, becuase I believe the article fails the Wikipedia:notability policy. Although the book's listed authors and publisher are themselves notable, I think that this doesn't extend to the book itself, to the point that a stand-alone article for the book is justified.

This is a "one-and-done" type of deletion proposal, which is meant to be used for deletions which are expected to be uncontroversial. If you or any other user, for any reason, believe that the article should not be deleted, you can simply remove the "deletion" syntax at the top of the article in the next few days. This will permanently kill the proposed deletion motion, which cannot be used again. To learn more, see WP:PROD. However, the page may still be nominated for deletion via other means. If the article is not deleted, it is strongly encouraged that the article's contents be expanded with references to reputable sources (the book itself, book reviews, and other sources).
