Bus route article deletions

[edit]

Hi! Like you, I am also a secondary school student interested in buses. I have a question: why do you think the Chinese articles for bus and even minibus routes are kept while the English ones are deleted 99% of the time (and also details on the Kowloon Motor Bus page like BBI and route numbering)? I believe this goes against some Wikipedia policies regarding that notability is not determined by geographical location nor language. Hkbusfan (talk) 02:25, 8 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, HKbusfan! You seem familiar from somewhere outside Wikipedia but I'm not sure :) As for your question, I don't know the answer either as I'm very new to Wikipedia editing. It doesn't seem to make any sense to me either. Maybe if an article is deleted again, you/we can bring up the notability policies with whoever deleted it. Also, if you want I can try to help you write Citybus Rt 5B :D Not-a-person-hehe (talk) 03:59, 16 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
