Duck Typing

[edit]

Hi, I removed you addition of Scala to Duck Typing as there is a difference between Duck-typing and Structural typing mentioned in the text but not evident in the example.

If at run-time a method is not going to be called, then it can be, and often is, absent from an instance, whereas Structural typing needs all the methods that the type system can determine may be needed at run time to be present.

It is a difference that makes DT not just ST for dynamic languages. --Paddy (talk) 14:18, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited MIM-104 Patriot, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Försvarsmakten. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
