Regarding Your Recent Edits

[edit]

Ombudswiki, please be aware that your recent edits on the Sathya Sai Baba and Robert Priddy articles are in violation of a recent arbcom ruling that prohibits adding critical website links consisting of original research and negative personal accounts against Sathya Sai baba Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Sathya Sai Baba. Modifications to bibliography at Spanish Civil War article

[edit]

Greetings Ombudswiki. Am slightly concerned about the above modification but as it was obviously done in good faith am not reverting it. In the interests of consensus-seeking, maybe you could explain exactly what effect you are after 'cos right now it ain't all that clear - to me, at least. Hiya, I filed a COI thread regarding editing at this article, and have posted a link to that on the talk page now. Please leave the article tags in place until these matters are resolved. The COI tag is to indicate that there is a possible conflict of interest, and that the article needs wider input. I think there can also be little argument over the article's overreliance on primary sources. Both of these concerns, COI and primary sourcing, have been echoed by multiple editors commenting at the GAR review, Wikipedia:Good article reassessment/Kevin R. D. Shepherd/1. Thanks. --JN466 14:45, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
