snow or sand?
Hi Patche. Is the white stuff in Image:Snowdrift.jpg really snow, or sand? --Scott Davis Talk 22:06, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Patchewollock

[edit]

It is sand - leftover from when there was an inland sea many, many years ago. It's incredible because the dunes are atop ground which is completely flat.

Thanks. I've updated the caption in Patchewollock, Victoria and also added the picture to Wyperfeld National Park. Feel welcome to expand the text and add more pictures. Thanks. --Scott Davis Talk 04:14, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
