ZAC Browser

[edit]

Your username leads me to believe that you're placing links to the ZAC Browser on Wikipedia because you're involved with the company that published it. Now I'm just telling you to please give up, because there's no way you're ever going to get it accepted here, unless you can come up with a good explanation for why it belongs. Now, it doesn't seem to me to be a commercial product ... i.e. you're not making a dime off of the browser ... which if I'm not mistaken would make it acceptable to keep as a link. But if it's a commercial product it's very hard to get a link accepted on Wikipedia because it's basically the same thing as an advertisement. Now also, I warn you, even if it is a free product and you're not advertising, your username is going to raise an eyebrow sooner or later and you'll get asked to change it. Because even THAT can be seen as an advertisement, which is against the rules of Wikipedia. I'm not trying to be harsh on you ... I'm trying to make a way for you to come to an agreement with the maintainers of the Autism articles that might leave everyone happy. Soap Talk/Contributions 19:40, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's not really up to me ... I just watch the page for changes, I'm not really an authority on autism or on Wikipedia. You might want to try making a case for including the ZAC link by writing in Talk:Autism. Also, sorry for the slow response. I've been busy. Soap Talk/Contributions 20:32, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
