A tag has been placed on Phil Alexander - Phil the Security Guard, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. OnoremDil 12:05, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}

A tag has been placed on Phil The Security Guard requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Autobiographies

[edit]

You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, instead of writing it yourself. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. --Darkwind (talk) 04:16, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Phil The Security Guard, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Phil The Security Guard and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kinu t/c 00:28, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} Hi, I am Phil Alexander (Phil the security guard). may be you are a ADMIN? I am a amateur about Wikipedia and uploading. User_talk:Kinu replied a couple of days ago about vandalizing and I replied I am an amateur about this and I read more on Wikipedia and now no more about Wikipedia and uploading. But Kinu blocked my upload. This version now is third person in descriptive but not selling anything. I am a stand up comedian USA and if you approve of this version I will upload it to Wikipedia USA stand up comedian. I will wait and you will read. Thank you, Phil

You have been advised of WP:COI, WP:N and WP:AUTOBIO before ... yet you persist? (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 09:50, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Questions and comments about autobio pages

[edit]

Are you the same user as User:M.treal8? If so, you probably should be using just one account. If not, you shouldn't usually be editing another user's userpage.

With regards to "your" wikipedia page, there's a pretty simple rule that works about 95% of the time: if you aren't famous enough (we use the word "notable") for someone else to make a page about you then it's likely that you probably can't have a Wikipedia page. In order to be notable enough, you will need to have been featured (not just mentioned) in multiple, independent, reliable sources. If you have any questions, feel free to ask here--I'll add your page to my watchlist. Qwyrxian (talk) 07:50, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also, you should know that if you keep trying to make the same page which doesn't meet our requirements, you'll eventually be blocked from editing. I recommend slowing down a bit, taking some time to read some of our policies (in particular, you need to read WP:N, WP:BIO, and WP:COI), and ask some questions. There's no need to get blocked just because you don't know how things work; but we do have to stop you from disrupting the encyclopedia. Qwyrxian (talk) 07:52, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
