Do you have an external relationship with Nigel Cumberland?

[edit]

Information icon Hello, PipMan12345. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article Nigel Cumberland, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
  • instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 15:43, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Melcous, Thanks for your comments and I apologise if in my keeness I had posted too much - yes as mentioned in my first edit (copied below) I do know Nigel Cumberland having heard him speak and read one of his books. With immediate effect I will only use the suggestion process that you mentioned - proposing changes on the talk page of the affected article. My first edit post: (cur | prev) 21:26, 5 May 2016‎ PipMan12345 (talk | contribs)‎ . . (8,778 bytes) (+8,778)‎ . . (I am creating a page for my favorite careers/life author - he has really inspired me with his 50 Secret book and I also recently heard him speak. I was surprised that he was not already on wikipaedia!)PipMan12345 (talk) 16:31, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
