Thanks for uploading Image:Rays feet.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. Longhair 11:30, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Since you don't automatically get informed when someone answers your question on the Help Desk, I thought I'd leave you a message to let you know that your question about synonyms / redirects on Muzafer Sherif has been answered - click here to go to the help desk page. License tagging for File:Onlive client last motd.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Onlive client last motd.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 06:05, 1 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited OnLive, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Motd. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Info on uploading images

[edit]

Hi Mr Keller. Here's where to go to get started uploading images: Help:Introduction to uploading images/1. If you're just starting out, it's best to only upload photos you have taken yourself with your own camera. Our non-free content policies are complex, and it's not an area I would recommend for beginners. -- Diannaa (talk) 01:36, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
