en-dashes

[edit]
Moved from User_talk:Rjwilmsi#Citation_changes_in_AWB
I have been using your general fixes throughout the day with no problems but I noticed that occasionally it changes nashes to -. I thought that the WP:MOS states that it is preferable to use n or mdash over -. I Just wanted to make sure that this was correct.--Kumioko (talk) 01:18, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you look at Wikipedia:DASH en-dashes are used but it uses the Unicode characters rather than the HTML code, so that's what my genfixes use. If you check this edit of yours for example, the markup does show as an en-dash. I think this is all correct. Rjwilmsi 08:03, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
