Good God what dosent the person who keeps editing what I wrote not understand?? Stop changing what I wrote. Your descriptions do not go into detail like mine therefore I feel like mine are more informational. I'm born and raised in this city and would like to add my contribution regarding facts on this city. I have edited certain things pertaining to the San Bernardino page. I believe the way it is now written is more educational and Informational. Please do not edit or re word my contribution in anyway or form. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Robert jones 714 (talkcontribs)

Unfortunately, Wikipedia does not work that way. By editing the page, you also consent for any editor to revise, improve upon, or otherwise change your contribution as they deem fit. You do not own your contributions or get that kind of control over them. —C.Fred (talk) 00:06, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
In fact, upon review of your contribution, I made changes to bring it in line with the manual of style. —C.Fred (talk) 00:08, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Username

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy for the following reason: You may have used your real name in your username, which makes you more vulnerable to harassment.. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 17:43, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
