There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. 331dot (talk) 08:07, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you are a campaign representative, you must comply with WP:COI(regardless of your position) and WP:PAID(if you are an intern or paid). Please note that per our notability guidelines for politicians written at WP:NPOLITICIAN, merely being a candidate for public office does not merit someone an article. They must already hold an office or be notable for something else. 331dot (talk) 08:10, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

UTRS appeal #35982 is now closed. My reply is copied below.

As you still have access to your talk page, and as there is no private information associated with your appeal, please post your unblock request to your user talk page for administrator review. You can follow the guide at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Guide_to_appealing_blocks. Please read and heed the messages already there. Please follow the instructions there, especially about renaming. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It is not a media outlet for political campaigns. I will message you on your talk page about notability and sourcing requirements for biographies of living people.

As noted by 331dot, WP:NPOLITICIAN applies. Please see also WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. "All content must be cited from reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and have a reputation for fact checking.". TBH, I doubt anyone connected with a political campaign can write in a non promotional manner about their candidate. (been there; done that) Never the less, User:Deepfriedokra/promo has information that might prove helpful. As to choosing a new user name, I'll watch this page to simplify telling us what new username you choose. Please bear in mind that it's one person per account. Wikipedia accounts may not be shared.
