Britishisms

Trouble is, it's a rather ugly term (don't you think?). What was wrong with the "exclusively British terms"? Tony (talk) 12:05, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think neither "Americanisms" nor "Britishisms" is very pretty. Problem with the formulation as it was is that it was biased (only slightly, but still), since "Americanism" suggests an American deviation from a norm. But if you want to remove both "Americanisms" and "Britishisms" that would work too! (And it's probably a better solution!)
