File permission problem with File:Jazz Artist.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Jazz Artist.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 10:11, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:He was a co-founder of the Nationalist Congress Party.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article Vu TelePresence has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no indication of meeting the notability guidelines at WP:ORG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 10:51, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Shravanshetty502. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Vu TelePresence, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. noq (talk) 07:57, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Cyberhawk 5 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 13:17, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello its my Friends Account i am not using Multiple Accounts Shravanshetty502 (talk) 05:51, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Shravanshetty502 (talk) 06:25, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

how can you Block my account if you want i can give you my verification if You want. i am from India i can give you my Pancard if You want. this is my id and i am using this. This is frustrating. Me and my frd where working together because we are new in wikipedia. Cyberhawk 5 is my Friend. we only work together. This is Not possible. Give me my ID back.

If you wish to appeal this block, place {{unblock}} on this page.Remember to replace "your reason here" with why you think you should be unblocked. It is recommended to read the guide to requesting unblocks first.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I an not using Multiple Accounts. Me and my friend Cyberhawk 5 are working together because we are new in wikipedia. So when i was busy he use to edit from his account.if you want proof i can give you my pancard details. Please reply fast as my work is pending Shravanshetty502 (talk) 07:06, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Judging by the exchange below, and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vu TelePresence, we are clearly seeing deception of some sort - Shravanshetty502 was either lying about losing their job, or is lying about lying about losing their job. Examining the development of Vu TelePresence, it looks to me like a collaboration between two editors to create a marketing/promotional article. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:05, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Note to admin considering unblock request

This editor may be new to Wikipedia but inspection of their edits will show that he or she seems to be employed to make Wikipedia publicity material for at least one borderline notable corporation. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 07:49, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No i am not getting paid for this. "Please reply fast as my work is pending" i told this because most of the time when ever i put Heplme the admin will come and they will say please dont post this all the time. but when ever i dont post helpme no one will reply. So i started posting that i will lose my Job and all. U can check my work... i am not getting paid for this. I was new in wikipedia so i dont know who to edit and how to give reference. i wanted to create more pages and want to earn batches Shravanshetty502 (talk) 09:14, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OK, so if you're not being paid to create a Wikipedia article, what did you mean by "Please check and please tell me what to do other wise i can lose my Job" at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vu TelePresence - was that just a lie then? -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:34, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the contribs of both accounts, I see no overlap, but no tight dovetailing either. Plus, if this is a single editor, why would he make a fuss over this? Wouldn't he just just wait a very short time and edit with the primary account? This is obviously a COI editor, but the block is about sockpuppetry, right? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 10:03, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It was, yes - but I think collaboration in creating a promotional article written in marketing-speak, then deception either in the deletion report or here in discussing it, and the claim to be just friends, constitutes meatpuppetry - I endorse the block for meatpuppetry/deception, and would not recommend an unblock until we see some honesty here. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:09, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Boing! said Zebedee: Fair enough. But isn't it allowed for two registered editors to collaborate to create an article for their organization? Sure it's COI, but I don't see them practicing meat puppetry. I see only one at talk pages and AfD. Is this an indeffable offence?
Shravanshetty502: Hey! Don't be deceptive! Ding dong! Be up front! If you get unblocked, work on the article together, and that's it. But, Wikipedia has zero tolerance for any dishonesty or off-Wikipedia conspiring and monkey business to influence whether an article stays or is deleted. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 10:20, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict)I think being deceptive about their relationship can be seen as meatpuppetry - this really does look like a paid promotion attempt to me, not just friends who happen to be interested in the same company. Shravanshetty502 has made no edits that do not relate to this company and its CEO, is writing in a blatantly promotional tone, and promotion-only accounts get blocked - I'm really not too bothered about the finer details of exactly what block reason has been chosen. But if we can get some honesty here, and some understanding of our policies on promotion, notability and reliable sources, I would not contest an unblock or a reduction in the block length. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:36, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No i dont think so collaboration work is only done for promotion. We wanted to learn so we both did it together. My english is not great so he use to help me. We both are friends and we dont work together but we practice wiki pedia together. In india there are very few wiki editors and i want to be the one . I never wanted to promote any thing i just want to be the editor of wiki Shravanshetty502 (talk) 10:30, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Look at this version, created and edited solely by Shravanshetty502, and tell me that is written in their own words by someone whose English is poor and who is just trying to learn. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:39, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You are still not getting it, it was written by friend Cyberhawk 5 i only gave reference and it was not at my place. I dont think so working together is a crime Shravanshetty502 (talk) 10:45, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Who said this is my 1st article i have created 2 articles before this and also changed one image. This is not done Shravanshetty502 (talk) 10:41, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I and Cyberhawk 5 we both work together on wiki. the article was created by Cyberhawk 5 and i did the referencing. We both want to learn more about wiki. I only want to say that i am not promoting any thing Shravanshetty502 (talk) 10:50, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please explain what you meant by "lose my Job and all". Anna Frodesiak (talk) 10:51, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Please reply fast as my work is pending" i told this because most of the time when ever i put Heplme the admin will come and they will say please dont post this all the time. but when ever i dont post helpme no one will reply. So i started posting that i will lose my Job and all. I had told you this earlier. See i dont know if there are some people who take money to write a article but i am not one of them. you only think i hardly have created any article why will any one pay me. If i was a professional wikipedia editor i would have never written all these things Shravanshetty502 (talk) 10:58, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to bug you, but what do you mean by "job"? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 11:07, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Anna Frodesiak I just wrote. Sorry for that i am not working there. But before this also i have made some wikipages u can check Shravanshetty502 (talk) 11:22, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

All of the edits from your account which have not been deleted have been related to this same company and its CEO. Do you think maybe it's time to disclose your connection to this company and tell us why you and your friend are writing about it? -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:26, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Re "You are still not getting it, it was written by friend Cyberhawk 5": No, all of the edits to that version of the article were made by the account User:Shravanshetty502, not by the account User:Cyberhawk 5 - that is clear from the article history. If you are saying that Cyberhawk 5 was using your account to create the article, while also using their own account, then what we have is two people using the same account, and one of those people using two accounts. A Wikipedia account should be used by only one person, and Cyberhawk 5 should not be writing articles pretending to be you. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:24, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I never said he was using my account he helped me writing the article. and this is my ID and Cyberhawk 5 had his own ID. i am not using Multiple id Shravanshetty502 (talk) 11:32, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that it was against the policy of wikipedia that two editiors cannot work together. Sorry i did not new that. and i agree it was my fault i did not read the guideline of wikipedia Shravanshetty502 (talk) 11:51, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • (edit conflict)All of the edits to the version of the article with the timestamp "08:52, 28 July 2012‎" were made by your account, and Cyberhawk 5 had not made any edits to it at that time (click this link to see the version, and look at the edit history that proves you were the only contributor at that point). Your claim that Cyberhawk 5 wrote all the content (you said "it was written by friend Cyberhawk 5") and you only added the references therefore cannot be true unless Cyberhawk 5 was using your account to do it! You need to come clean about your relationship with each other and with the company and stop this obfuscation if you want to have any chance of being unblocked - but as I am not prepared to keep going round in circles here, I shall leave it to other people now. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:01, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am not going round and round...I took help from other people to write previous articles. Thats the truth. The only thing is that you are not believing it. Request reason:

I an not using Multiple Accounts. Me and my friend Cyberhawk 5 are working together because we are new in wikipedia. So when i was busy he use to edit from his account. We are not promoting any thing in wikipedia

Decline reason:

This has gone on long enough. To be blunt, you have lied, many times, and you have completely lost the trust of the Wikipedia community. You claimed to work for Vu Telepresence, then said that was just a ruse. You say Cyberhawk 5 doesn't work for the company when he stated that he does. You say you didn't write anything promotional, when it is plainly obvious you both did. You take an image that may be copyrighted, claim it as your own, and Cyberhawk 5 uploads it claiming it is his own work, implying that you have multiple accounts. You say Cyberhawk 5 is a new user, yet he's been here 4 years and has created other articles. And on and on. OK, I'll accept that you are two different people. The fact remains that your statements have been so inconsistent that we have absolutely no reason whatsoever to trust you.

Please read WP:OFFER, come back in six months as it suggests, and come clean about your relationship with the company and Cyberhawk 5. Honesty is appreciated here. Dishonesty is not, therefore I am declining this unblock request. ~Amatulić (talk) 23:31, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Please read the edit summary of the first edit here - note it claims to have been self made by Cyberhawk 5. Then read this which is where the image was allegedly sourced - although it appears originally to be from the companies website. Now, can you explain why the pinterest image was apparently uploaded by you when Cyberhawk 5 claimed to have made it? noq (talk) 16:12, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it was uploaded by me in Pinterest and its my account. I took the image from the company website. Shravanshetty502 (talk) 16:16, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

So you took an image from the company website, loaded it onto another website, then loaded into Wikipedia and claimed it as your own work? noq (talk) 17:37, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It was claimed to be in the public domain under CC0 1.0 Universal when it was uploaded here. This would, of course, not be applicable if the image were the copyright of the company before it was copied to pinterest. I'll ask Moonriddengirl to have a look at this, as I'm not sure if we accept CC0 1.0 Universal anyway. Peridon (talk) 20:25, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

When you say "working together", do you mean you and Cyberhawk 5 work at the same company "Vu TelePresence"? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 04:22, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No we are friends we only do wikiwrk together...thats it..210.89.47.228 (talk) 05:20, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, okay. I think I understand now. You don't work for Vu TelePresence. Does Cyberhawk 5 work for Vu TelePresence? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:22, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No cyberhawk is also not working for Vu. Cyberhawk and I we only help each other in wikipedia because we are childhood friends 210.89.47.228 (talk) 05:25, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I see. So, would you agree that Cyberhawk 5 was lying when he wrote "I am working in Vu telepresence"? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:30, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes...100% 210.89.47.228 (talk) 05:32, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I see. So you both just edit Wikipedia for fun. You have no interest in the company, although you both wrote about it promotionally, and its founder, took time to upload images from the company site, both said you worked there, but both lied, as you now say neither of you have anything to do with the company. Oh, and the India branch of the company is in Mumbai, which is exactly where you are right now. Well, I hope neither of you post userpage images of yourselves wearing Vu TelePresence T-shirts. That would just tip the scales, wouldn't it then? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:47, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We stay in Mumbai and right now i am at my home. I am not doing any promotion before this article i have written 2 other articles. 210.89.47.228 (talk) 06:04, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. I think I'm done here. Once somebody lies, I don't usually believe further statements from them. I also wouldn't be surprised if Cyberhawk 5 ended up blocked too. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 06:28, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

when did i lie 210.89.47.228 (talk) 07:07, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

you have been contridicting yourself all the way through. First you say you work for a company, then you don't, you admitted lying earlier to try and gain an unblock, then you say you didn't lie, so as for your account being related in any way,  Looks like a duck to me. Mdann52 (talk) 07:20, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If i was a professional wikipedia editor i would have never written all these things 210.89.47.228 (talk) 07:36, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The suggestion is not that you are a professional Wikipedia editor, but that you work for or are otherwise connected to the Vu TelePresence company. The evidence is compelling - you said so yourself (though you now say that was a lie), Cyberhawk 5 said he worked for the company (but you say he was lying too), you have written promotional material about the company and its CEO, and you are in the same city as the company's offices. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 08:56, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If i stay in Mumbai i cannot write any article about people who stay in Mumbai. Ha this is funny and second thing i have told you we both dont work. and thats the only reason i am arguing with you. Shravanshetty502 (talk) 09:35, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As pointed out above, you have said both that you work for and don't work for the company - one of them is a lie. How do we tell which one, the initial one or the version after you where warned about WP:conflict of interest? I'm thinking the initial version is the most likely to be the truth. noq (talk) 12:06, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I had posted on wikipedia that i am working for Vu i dont think so my frds has posted you can banned me but i am not lying we dont take money to prepare wikipages. This is my lastword i cannot fight with you i am done. You should trust and me and give one more chance but you are not giving me that. Thank You Shravanshetty502 (talk) 17:10, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You really should keep track of your claims - you said you would get the sack if the article was deleted. How could you get the sack if not working - either directly or indirectly - for the company. noq (talk) 17:29, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You can check the above conversation i have explained there that i did not wanted to post helpme bec many admin had told me not post helpme regularly. so i when i stopped posting helpme not one use to reply me. so thats y posted these things Shravanshetty502 (talk) 17:42, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

TBH, that's like saying "I didn't mean to violate WP:NLT, but I wanted to draw attention to an issue regarding...". Remember wp:duck - we don't know you personally, we can only go by what you put when you edit. Mdann52 (talk) 17:51, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

i agree i made a mistake by posting wrong thing on talk page. My i gave all the sourcing which i had posted on the article. I did new wiki rules but now i know it, i will not do it again if i have any problem i will post helpme Shravanshetty502 (talk) 17:56, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

WP:DUCK Fiddle Faddle (talk) 20:23, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
My bet is that these two editors work for an organisation that sells itself as being able to "promote your web site" and have fallen foul of Wikipedia rules. There will be loads of future sockpuppets if so. But yes, this one may lose a job over it for getting caught - the one with the promotion company.. As a webmaster I get spam from this type of borderline scam operation about twice a week. It;s nice to see one get caught. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 21:24, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Fiddle Faddle Hi 5 for getting us 'caught' but actually you have caught two amateurs who are just trying to do things in wiki for the people they know. I dont stand for what Shravanshetty502 has done but i am not his proxy and as i learn the wiki ways i wont get banned for sock puppetry cause i am not a sock puppet. It also stupid for me to sell my wiki skills to someone which i obviously dont have :) infact i am just tool-ing my way and learning things with Wiki page.So your accusation that we sell our services is False, i dont have any services to sell. Let me tell you one more thing both me and Shravanshetty502 were involved in setting with the first wiki conference in Mumbai which was organized by a Digital Media Company called Avignyata and sponsored on my recommendation by Kalnirnay whose page i edited yesterday and i know them well too .Now even this sound conflict of interest as wiki is dealing with a commercial company to do a conference in India. However my point is we live in a practical world and any company deserves as much space on wiki as an imaginary elf would but it should abide by guidelines. Please check - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Conference_India Cyberhawk 5 (talk) 07:39, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I find it rather odd that Cyberhawk's English is so much better, yet both of you tend to forget that final full stop at the end of the final sentence, omit the aphostrophe in "don't", and both tend to use lower case "I"s. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 21:56, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Anna Frodesiak as you may have observed Shravanshetty502 language, behavior and actions arent perfect but thats his personality and i dont stand for him. This also makes clear that he isnt my proxy account nor i am his, so the ban we received for sock puppetry was unfair, but i wont cringe. I never said i work for Vu telepresence, i am happily self-employed but i said i am an advanced user of their products and as i know them, i thought lets get something done. Though my account is 4yrs old, my contributions have been very few and its only now that i have learnt the wiki ways. I would also like to state that altruism doesnt always get best result some time practical purposes do, hence kindly look into my plea and help me restart Vu telepresence page as per wiki guidelinesCyberhawk 5 (talk) 07:18, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. You stated: "I never said i work for Vu telepresence..." and also stated "I am working in Vu telepresence". Please explain. Thank you. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 10:46, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Anna Frodesiak can you please point out with an url where these words like 'I work for Vu telepresence ' has been mentioned, i cant seem to find it. It will be helpfull to see if i am suffering from schizophrenia.Cyberhawk 5 (talk) 18:40, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The comments are no longer on show on the page, as it was deleted, but any admin can view them and verify the claims. Mdann52 (talk) 18:44, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi i must have used Cyberhawk 5 id to upload the image Shravanshetty502 (talk) 06:48, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

But you told us you had not used each other's accounts ("I never said he was using my account he helped me writing the article. and this is my ID and Cyberhawk 5 had his own ID. i am not using Multiple id Shravanshetty502 (talk) 11:32, 9 August 2012 (UTC)" - my emphasis). Are you now saying that was a lie too? -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 08:27, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
And are you also admitting to working for the company? noq (talk) 10:32, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Shravanshetty502 must have used my id without logging me off. But yes I dont work for Vu Telepresence and if i did why should i hide it. A lot of pages in wikipedia have been started by people knowing and associating with the content, so there should be no shame in it. Afterall everyone is welcomed to contribute in fair - unbiased way. I learnt it bit late but hey everyone has to make a start somewhereCyberhawk 5 (talk) 11:59, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Sudhir mungantiwar Signature.png, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image. (See section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
  • It is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. (See section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then you should do two things. First, please state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions. Second, please add the relevant copyright tag.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on MLA movie requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Orphaned non-free media (File:Theatricalreleaseposter.jpeg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Theatricalreleaseposter.jpeg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:31, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Devita-Saraf-.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Devita-Saraf-.jpg.

Thank you. Magog the Ogre (tc) 06:30, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
