License tagging for File:Wfte Cover02.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Wfte Cover02.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:05, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Linkin Park infobox chronologies

[edit]

Please note that there are at least two separate chronologies for Linkin Park albums, including studio and non-studio albums. Some of your edits have misclassified albums and, for example, put studio albums into a non-studio album chronology. I'd suggest discussing this matter at Talk:Linkin Park before making further changes, as this was probably previously discussed there. —C.Fred (talk) 16:10, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Linkin park.

[edit]

Tell me how he actually confirmed Living Things. In the LPU Chatroom he teased it, not confirmed it. He didn't mention anything about Living Things. On twitter he trolled us. Check the tweet he made directly after. If the album name turns out to be Living Things, good for you. But now, it's not confirmed, okay? You're making me and three other close friends of mine on LPA and LPU very angry. You just can't assume you know everything. Because no one does. You're allowed to slap the album name allover everything once he confirms it. Until then, please give it a rest. RazorEyeEdits (talk) 14:03, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have fixed the cut and paste move on the article, and the article is now edit protected too. This is not a good thing, so I will be lifting protection later. This kind of edit warring and move warring is very disruptive. If anyone goes on edit warring over the article title before the album is (pre-)released, I will be blocking whoever does so. If you would like to have the article moved, please discuss it on the talkpage, and if there is consensus, make use of requested moves if there is consensus the article should be moved. Lying from You

[edit]

If Lying from You isnt a single, please remove it from Linkin Park discography#Singles and it under notes. Or you could add a section (Other charted songs) and put it there with Runaway and Rolling in the Deep. Thanks --Gbuvn (talk) 12:28, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

edit war

[edit]

The two of you seem to be voluntarily stopping, but I still feel like I need to make it clear: the level of edit warring that has gone on in this pair of articles is unacceptable. The next one of you that reverts in either article will be blocked. SuperVirtual, I draw your attention to WP:BRD: once an addition you have made to an article is reverted, it stays out of the article until there is consensus to include it. QuintusPetillius, I draw your attention to WP:3RR#3RR exemptions: none of your reverts fall under any of those exemptions, and being a reviewer doesn't give you a special status. I could, at this point, block both of you, but I will not so long as you both cease edit-warring and start discussing.—Kww(talk) 21:05, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A compromise

[edit]

Hey SuperVirtual, I am actually happy with your recent edit to the Walk (Foo Fighters song) article - because you have only put what is supported by the source. Before I was not happy because you were putting that the song was exclusively released in Germany and the source does not say that and when it is clearly available in pretty much every country in the world as a commercial download, even if without artwork. Anyway I am happy to leave the article with your current edit. Thanks. QuintusPetillius (talk) 15:39, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi SuperVirtual although I am happy to leave your edit to the "Walk" article as mentioned above. Moving onto Arlandria (song) article I am happy to leave your recent edit their, although I must point out that these news sources [1] and [2] say that it is the third single. So we maybe we can come to a compromise that as per your information, the song was only a single in the UK and as per my information from the news sources it was the third single in the UK only.QuintusPetillius (talk) 16:09, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No, we have already settled "Walk" just leave it as it is. The song is available as a commercial download in any country. I live in the UK and downloaded it myself. Besides unless you have a source which says it was only released exclusively in Germany then you cannot put it into the article. Like I said I am happy to leave the Walk article as it is.QuintusPetillius (talk) 16:25, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Just because the song is not available with the artwork does not mean it is not available as a single. Besides as I have already shown you would need a source which actually states that the song was exclusively released in Germany. The iTunes source alone does not actually state that.QuintusPetillius (talk) 18:09, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

if the complaints have my username it must be deleted, because it's a privacy violation. I don't tell you anymore. Cancel the complaint now.

June 2013

[edit]

Again, could you just read the article? Allmusic proves that a commercial release of Edge of the Earth exists. Don't add singles chart positions in albums articles, they're irrelevant. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. It's your task to revert your edits. Regards.--Earthh (talk) 14:37, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Discogs is not a reliable source, it will never be complete since registered users add releases to the database. Actually, Allmusic is a better source than Discogs, iTunes, Amazon or 7digital. Please discuss it on the talkpage, and if there is consensus, you can restore you edits.--Earthh (talk) 18:34, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for continued edit warring even after a warning not to do so. A review of your contribution history and user page reveals that this account is a sockpuppet of the banned user ItHysteria as well, meaning that this block will never be lifted. You would have to return to your ItHysteria account and request it there. I seriously doubt that anyone would grant it.. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Kww(talk) 20:14, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I'm not ItHysteria, because I read that he was also blocked in the Italian Wikipedia for vandalism about Thirty Seconds to Mars. You also undid all my edits, most of all without reading what I have written. And also, you delete most pictures that I create for albums articles. Ask a CU for compare me with this user (also my IPs), --SuperVirtual (talk) 06:23, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I'm not a sockpuppets of User:ItHysteria, because he is a user also blocked in my country and he lives in a different city from where I live. If you want, you can request a CU to compare me and he.

Decline reason:

How do you happen to know this? In any event, we rarely use Checkuser to prove someone isn't a sock, as it really can't be done that way. — Daniel Case (talk) 16:51, 15 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Because I'm informed of this as soon as I've been stuck on this version of Wikipedia. I also known what I have done few minutes until my block, but I have lost many contributions that I've done in the past, like cover art albums or singles, big edits (with sources) about music (for example: Keane, Muse, Linkin Park, Metallica). I edited the page "Edge of the Earth" because I read on Discogs that there is only a promotional single, and not a digital single (a user write that Allmusic report a digital single released in 2003). I was advert by Kww with the sentence "The next revert by either SuperVirtual or Earthh related to Edge of the Earth will result in an immediate block". My next edits are not vandalism: I insert tmp:Tracklist and other information (see the chronology). --SuperVirtual (talk) 09:29, 16 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This is most certainly nowhere near WP:GAB-compliant - there is a requirement for WP:COMPETENCE on this site (✉→BWilkins←✎) 00:29, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

But it's very absurd the fact that I was blocked because I considered as a sockpuppet of a user that lives in Campobasso while I live in Piacenza (I can demonstrate it)

Decline reason:

Not an unblock request, does not address the reasons for the block. Note that CheckUser is never used to establish a user's innocence, it is impossible to prove a negative. WilliamH (talk) 13:39, 23 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
