Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Meaning of life, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. What are you doing? You removed the header, the signature, and most of the user's post. It helps to ask before doing a revert on a comment. The comment I reverted was mine, and I altered it because it's my first comment on Wikipedia, and I was beginning to learn the functions of the text. What I don't appreciate is that you rushed to the conclusion that this was someone else's comment. I registered so that I could edit that comment as a user. Not cool.
