You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Political positions of Barack Obama. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. · jersyko talk 17:50, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Understood. I apologize.

Use of article talk pages

[edit]

Concerns such as these: [1] are unsuitable for article talk pages. Issues concerning editor conduct on Palestine-Israel related articles should be voiced at the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. CIreland (talk) 03:20, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 18:10, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page misuse warning

[edit]

Please do not restore irrelevant material to talk pages, as you did here. I have already warned Itze about this. Wikipedia is not a forum or battleground, talk pages are not for subjects other than article improvement, and "he started it" is not an excuse for misusing Wikipedia. The debate has to stop somewhere and frankly, as an uninvolved administrator, I've stepped in and said that it stops here. -- SCZenz (talk) 19:01, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. ScarianCall me Pat! 10:19, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Tirpse77. Please don't refer to others' good faith efforts as "vandalism," as you did here. Consensus at AN/I has already established this (Diff available upon request). Thanks, and please let me know if you have any questions/concerns, here or on my own talk page. IronDuke 03:23, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have responded on your talk page. "Vandalism" wasn't the right description. What it was was "tendentious editing." --Tirpse77 (talk) 20:21, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the reply, and for your flexibility. It may be tendentious, but I would disagree that it is highly POV -- there are just too many reliable sources which support that characterization. FWIW, I wouldn't call it vandalism if someone inserted that the Israeli government was terrorist. Other things, maybe, but not vandalism. Thanks again. IronDuke 00:46, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Whew!

[edit]

Thanks for showing up at the two relevant Bedouin pages!!!! I have found that just as the Bedouin are 'neglected' within Israeli society, they often receive short-shrift within the Palestinian community as well, as so at times it is difficult to 'defend' such information from erasure here. Best to you, LamaLoLeshLa (talk) 05:26, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
