Welcome to Wikipedia!!!

[edit]
Hello Tom.k! Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. If you decide that you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky or even vandalizing. Below are some recommended guidelines to facilitate your involvement. Happy Editing! -- Kukini 20:23, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

VandalProof

[edit]

That is possible, although that bug was supposed to be fixed a while ago. Do you have cookies enabled in Internet Explorer? Prodego talk 20:11, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I certainly will. If this does allow you to log in, you should let AmiDaniel know on the SMF bug report forum. You should create the account while logged in however, (just follow this link while logged in and create the account) so that the account will not be mistaken as a sockpuppet. Prodego talk 20:57, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Nope, it is approved. Prodego talk 22:51, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!

Roosevelt family tree

[edit]

Where is your evidence that Claes van Roosevelt was Jewish? If you have none, this is no more than vandalism. Adam 07:26, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, my apologies. Adam 15:09, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Minor edits

[edit]

Please remember to mark your edits as minor when (and only when) they genuinely are minor edits (see Wikipedia:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one (and vice versa) is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting and minor rearranging of text should be flagged as a 'minor edit'. Thanks! --Mel Etitis (Talk) 20:12, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
