on the edit of BMW M

[edit]

Please don't say that using British English is wrong. I will allow you to change it back to American English for the article BMW M, but don't ever say it is wrong to use British English, they are just different. --Alcatraz7003 (talk) 12:26, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Tractor Tyres never said that using BE was wrong; What he said was, that the article itself is, as a whole, already written in AE, which means that changing parts of it to BE would not really make sense. He linked you the appropriate guidelines. I hope this clarifies things. ~ twsx | talkcont | ~ 12:23, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

OK, i have finally got it, thanks for clarifying. --Alcatraz7003 (talk) 12:26, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry that I wrote the message in such a way that could be misunderstood. As a native speaker of British English, I would never regard it as wrong. Tractor Tyres (talk) 13:58, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
