[edit]

Hello, Ttayloranne, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hi Ttayloranne. I reverted one of your additions to the article Girls Who Code because the claim ("that GWC has helped to fix the gender gap in employment") was sourced to a primary source. While primary sources can be used in Wikipedia articles, this is quite a big claim, and one that really requires a higher standard of reference (I'm thinking a scientific paper that took into consideration a long list of the biases that could arise in making such a claim). Thanks for your other additions to the article; let me know if I can help at all. Sam Walton (talk) 22:50, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
