Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as The Orti Oricellari Intellectual Circle, is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. The page has been nominated for deletion, in accordance with Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I, JethroBT drop me a line 02:47, 15 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, my name is Jethro. I've either nominated for deletion / removed content related to the secret society you are writing about because the sources you've provided in the article do not provide verifiable evidence that the society existed or has ever existed. Please do not reinsert this content unless you can provide such sources. I, JethroBT drop me a line 02:54, 15 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Also, if the society has just been created, it's unlikely to meet our general criteria for notability at this time. Just because an organization, secret or otherwise, exists, does not mean it is appropriate for inclusion on Wikipedia. I, JethroBT drop me a line 02:58, 15 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Jethro - I will provide a highly reliable source affirming the existence of the Orti Oricellari Intellectual Circle at the University of Tampa via orgsync, a website that the University of Tampa, as well as several universities across the globe, utilize to archive active organizations. Organizations cannot be registered on org sync unless approved by the school after a strenuous application process. https://orgsync.com/84802/chapter This is our orgsync. I certainly hope that this will suffice as evidence, because there is no other evidence that I may provide you with at this time. I ask that you please retract the speedy deletion and I will provide more evidence in the subsequent few days if need be.

Hello Ulixes T. Hawili. I have moved this to your userspace, as you have noticed. Please read my comments on User talk:Ulixes T. Hawili/The Orti Oricellari Intellectual Circle with respect to notability. It's all well and good that the circle has been run through orgsync, but that simply means it's passed their test for being a real group, not that it is a notable group. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

A tag has been placed on File:The Founding Fathers of the Orti Oricellari Intellectual Circle, including Ulixes T. Hawili (center).jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Image without license

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:The first executive board of the Orti Oricellari Intellectual Circle, including original founder Ulixes T. Hawili (center) April 2014.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
