Hi there, re: this edit, maybe you misinterpreted the very obvious embedded note, but we don't use blogs as references because anyone can start a blog, call himself an expert, and print whatever he wants. We only care what reliable published sources with established reputations for fact-checking and accuracy have to say about anything. There's nothing to suggest that Sandalwood Stories meets this criterion. Please see WP:UGC and our reliable sources guidelines. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:35, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm NOTNOTABLE. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Mungaru Male seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. NOTNOTABLE (talk) 18:32, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In addition to being puffery, the content in question was also not written well and your reversion reintroduced grammatical and typographical errors, like the miscapitalization of "First". The content is repetitious and the unnecessary repetition doesn't improve our knowledge of the subject.

What are we trying to say here?

1) "It was First in India for any language to be screened continuously for over one year in a multiplex" Okay, and? What's the relevance of this? Pretty much everything is a national record when you set the goalposts just the right way. "It was the first film in India featuring a man with light eyebrows to screen for over a year in theatres."
2) "it had not only broke all the previous records" What previous records are you referring to? Previous records of being screened continuously for over a year in a multiplex? Didn't we already say that? Wasn't that implied in "It was First in India..."?
3) "and it was the milestone in history of Sandalwood" In what way? What was the milestone? That it was the first film in India to be shown continuously for over a year in a multiplex? Didn't we already say that? Wasn't that implied in "It was First in India..."?
4) "and went on to become National Record in Indian cinema." What national record was set? That it was the first film in India to be shown continuously for over a year in a multiplex? Didn't we already say that? Wasn't that implied in "It was First in India..."?

So that's what I meant when I removed the content and described it as "extra words". And were you aware that the content already existed in the very next paragraph? "The film recorded the highest box-office collections in the history of Kannada cinema and currently holds the record for the longest running film at a multiplex." Maybe the existing puffery was sufficient, and adding more puffery on top of it was maybe overkill? Or does the article now have the appropriate amount of puffery in your estimation?
